What you need

A product is sold out.

Turn on a back-in-stock form (Klaviyo has one built in; there are Shopify apps too).
Show the form only when a variant is sold out.
Send one email when stock returns, with a direct link to the variant.
Look at waitlist counts before reordering to decide quantities.
