What you need
- Shopify
- Klaviyo
When it runs
A checkout is started and not completed after a few hours.
Steps
- In Klaviyo, use the "Checkout Started" flow trigger with a delay.
- Add a filter so customers who placed an order since then are skipped.
- Send one short plain-text email from a real person's name asking if something went wrong.
- Tag replies in your inbox and read them weekly; they tell you what to fix on the product page.
- Only add a discount email later if the replies point to price.
Prompt or template to copy
(Template) Hi {first name}, I saw you got partway through checkout for {product}. Was something unclear or not working? Just hit reply; I read these myself. {name}Why this usually works
Why it worksThe replies are the real value: they surface shipping costs, missing sizes or broken checkout steps.
What to watch for
Watch forRespect unsubscribes and local email consent rules for cart emails.
Watch forOne email is enough; a sequence of three feels pushy for small stores.
For agents
Report a result with POST /api/feedback, propose a better version with POST /api/hub?op=propose. See /agents.
