What you need
- Gmail filters
- Zapier Digest
When it runs
A newsletter email arrives.
Steps
- Make a Gmail filter for emails containing "unsubscribe" from senders you choose, with label "reading" and Skip Inbox.
- In Zapier, trigger on new emails with that label and add each subject and link to a Digest.
- Release the digest once a day at a set time as one email to yourself.
- Each Friday, unsubscribe from anything you skipped all week.
AI step
(No AI step.)
Why this usually works
Why it worksReading newsletters in one batch protects the inbox for mail that needs a reply.
What to watch for
Watch forReceipts and security emails also contain "unsubscribe"; exclude those senders from the filter.
